  • Where are you located?

    We sail out of Maxwell’s Boatyard. 135 Pearl Street, Noank CT. Look for the driveway on the left, just past Abbott’s Lobster.

  • Is boarding the boat difficult?

    Boarding nvolves stepping from the dock to the boat with some uneven surfaces. Depending on the tide, there may be 2–3 foot step and ladder. Please reach out prior to your sail should you have any questions or concerns.

  • What time should I arrive?

    Plan to arrive to the dock at the time of your scheduled sail, ready to board. Parking is free but please limit your party to 1-2 cars.

  • What happens with inclement weather?

    We will contact you within 24-hours of your scheduled departure time should there be suspicion for inclement weather. If the captain cancels due to inclement weather, you will receive full refund for your trip.

  • Can I bring food and drinks?

    Yes, snacks and beverages are encouraged! Our boat is equipped with a refrigerator, cups and koozies. Guests are expected to drink responsibly. Smoking is not permitted on board.

  • What should I expect?

    The weather can be cooler on the water, we encourage you to bring layers and comfortable shoes. There is a bathroom on land and a head on board.

  • Do I need to bring a life jacket?

    No, we provide a life jacket for everyone on board. Children 12 years and under are required to wear a life jacket while aboard, per CT law.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    Cancel before 24 hours of your scheduled departure time to receive a full refund for your trip. Cancellations within 24 hours will incur a fee. Inclement weather cancellations will not incur a fee.

  • How many guests can I bring?

    We can accomodate up to 6 passengers (not including our captain / crew). We ask that any child under 12 is accompanied by an adult.
